Supplement Troubleshooting

One of the joints originally closed with double-sided tape has opened.

Joints may open up if the stellar sheets are not folded correctly. In this event, use cellophane tape to seal the gap. By minimizing the amount of tape used, it will not stand out and a good appearance can be maintained.
If a gap continues to open, use staples to close the joints.

The miniature lamp has burned out.

Commercially-available miniature lamps can be used as replacements. Ensure to choose a 2.5-V, 0.5-A spot bulb.

Stars are not round.

The pinhole planetarium projects the shape of the bulb’s filament as is. Therefore, this actual shape will be more apparent on further-removed projection surfaces. The shape will appear as a circle on projection surfaces parallel to the plane of the filament. Therefore, adjust the projector to get the best overall projection condition.
